Compresstome® Vibrating Microtomes
Unlike traditional vibratomes, the Compresstome uses a vertical, oscillating blade to cut tissue embedded in agarose (for stability) and fed through a cylindrical stainless steel tube that’s slightly tapered at the end (for gentle compression).
